Using an Attorney to Purchase a Property

Do you need an attorney at all to help you purchase a property? Often there are family transactions where people will ask, "Do I really need an attorney?" The answer to that question is you're not legally required to use an attorney in the State of New York, however, nobody else will provide you with legal advice. I advise clients as a Real Estate Lawyer that brokers are not allowed to provide you with legal advice. No other professional except a qualified attorney is allowed to provide that advice. While it is not required, it is highly suggested that you use a Real Estate Lawyer and it will make your life a lot simpler.
