David Nisnewitz - Social Security Attorney
Long Island Social Security Attorney David Nisnewitz practices primarily in the areas of Social Security Disability, Long Term Disability and representation of physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and other medical providers in disputes concerning coverage and reimbursement issues including Medicare, Medicaid and private carrier disputes.
Long Island Social Security Attorney David has had fifteen years of experience as a trial attorney and supervisor for the Legal Aid Society of the City of New York and the litigation department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. His most recent experience was serving as an Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration of the United States Government. In that capacity, he served a total of thirty-seven years during which time he adjudicated Social Security disability cases, provider reimbursement and coverage issues as well as fraud and abuse disputes. During his tenure as an Administrative Law Judge, he served as a Chief Judge of the Manhattan Office, Deputy Regional Chief Judge for the New York region and as Chief Judge for the Queens Hearing Office.
David is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Florida as well as the following federal jurisdictions: United States Supreme Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of the Federal Court and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
David earned his LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from Brooklyn Law School and his LLM (Master of Laws) from New York University. He obtained his B.A. degree from New York University.
